Meet the team – Jessica Brassington

Over the next few months we will be introducing you to all members of the HW team.

Today is the turn of Jessica Brassington who has worked within the business for 13 years.

What is your role at HW?

I work as admin and support the Financial Advisors.

What do enjoy most about your role at HWIFM?

Working with the team at HWIFM, we are only a small unit but still seem to have a laugh and giggle and you get to know some clients really well.

Who lives at home with you?

I’m married to Simon and have 2 children Amy and Archie, who are both at high school and sport mad. They are all desperate for a dog!

Hobbies – what do you enjoy doing out of work?

At the moment it’s walking. I am doing the Mighty Hike in June with my sister. This is 26 miles in Ullswater in aid of Macmillan. Once lockdown eases I will be hopefully going to the theatre, museums and galleries. Definitely enjoying a large glass of wine and having a good chat with friends and family.

Anything apart from fish finger sandwiches!

Your go to holiday destination after lock down

Portugal with some good friends and their children.

One piece of advice you would give to your younger self

Count to ten and don’t say the first thing that comes to mind.

What lessons have you learned during the last 12 months?

Parents are not made to teach fractions to their children and that I couldn’t be a teacher! Definitely the realisation of the importance of friends and close family, as not being able to see them during lockdown has been tough.

What are your dream goals to achieve by the end of 2021

Not to have killed the children……. Oops can’t say that!! Just to see people and catch up over a glass of wine around a burning fire pit.
